If you're wandering through the vibrant streets of Jongno District in Seoul, make sure to take a delightful detour to CHURRO 101. This charming café is a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth and a penchant for crispy, golden fried delights.

At CHURRO 101, you’ll find a fantastic selection of churros that are not just snacks; they’re an experience. Freshly fried to order, these churros come out piping hot, perfectly crisp on the outside and tender within, giving you a tantalizing crunch with every bite. Customers rave about the cinnamon churros, generously dusted with sweet cinnamon powder and sugar, making them a greasy, indulgent treat that warm your heart. One satisfied customer, BD Life, could barely contain their excitement when describing how they received a "hot, freshly fried snack" that perfectly encapsulated the essence of comfort food.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. CHURRO 101 also offers a selection of unique flavors, including the popular almond churros, which are a fan favorite. These come drizzled with rich dark chocolate, garnished with crunchy almond bits, making them not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes. And for those looking to cool down, the café's Green Tea bingsu is a must-try, featuring flavorful red bean paste and refreshing almond shavings that strike the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness, as noted by regular customer Jimmy Chan.

While some reviews mention that their drinks could use a little more finesse—the matcha latte, for instance, left Joshua Apo wanting a bit more—it's the churros that steal the show. As Lori Becker humorously states, they may even be "better than your boyfriend," though she suggests enjoying them in the company of a loved one for an even sweeter experience. And if you’re looking for something to quench your thirst, the 5 grain latte is also worth trying, adding a delightful twist to your café experience.

Service at CHURRO 101 is generally quick, although a few customers have hoped for a bit more attention to detail—like remembering utensils for their dips. Regardless, the fast service and satisfying treats ensure that your visit will be deliciously memorable.

Whether you're stopping by for a quick snack or planning to indulge in a sweet treat after exploring the nearby attractions, CHURRO 101 is delightful café that promises to satisfy your cravings. Make sure to add this gem to your culinary itinerary in Seoul—because a trip without churros from CHURRO 101 just wouldn’t be complete!

Freshly fried after order, so we received a hot, freshly fried snack, choosing the cinnamon flavor. A lot of cinnamon powder and sugar sprinkled on it. It's greasy and very sweet.

Their churros, dips, and ice cream are really good! Their drinks are just so-so—didn’t really think their matcha latte was anything special. Service could be a bit better since we weren’t given a spoon and the dip we ordered, but otherwise, the food came out quick! Will definitely come back to try their bingsu!

Churros in Korea, who would expect it to taste good. It's Best recommendation Almond Churros is crispy out the outside with solid dark chocolate & almonds bits sprinkle and long enough in length to make it fulfilling. The Green Tea bingsu also is tasty with solid red bean paste & almond shavings. All these are very pricey hence more affordable servings go for the mini take-away version of Churros & Ice cream in a cup. Located at the corner of the street it's hard to miss. The toilet and WiFi is only accessible to paying customers. There is no parking in this area.

Truly “better than a boyfriend” Best churros I’ve ever had

Wow, delicious churros. They advertise with “better than your boyfriend”. I’m afraid it’s true (for some people, not me of course). I’d say “even better WITH your boyfriend”. The 5-grain latte was fabulous too.

These are legit the best churros I've ever had. I find traditional churros on the dry side and after two bites I regret them. These on the other hand, I had one and then went back to get two more. Both the stuffed and chocolate dipped are fantastic. They have a kiosk where you can order yourself. It has an English language option and they take credit cards. You can eat outside in a nice public space with a lot of benches and prime people watching, or inside the building where they have a second floor that looks over the street. The service is fast and friendly. They also have a bathroom available.

Coffee and hot chocolate were tasty, the churro fulfilled all my dreams, definitely recommend if you’re craving a churro and they have so many variations. I tried the one with milk custard filling and chocolate dip on the side - so good!
